The Mobicam DL Monitoring System is not specifically designed as a video baby monitor, but as a multi-purpose monitor that can be used, not only for keeping an eye on your little one, but anywhere where you need to see what's going on.

With its good sized 2.4″ LCD color screen and extra wide-angle lens, you will be able to clearly see your baby in its crib. Utilizing digital, frequency hop technology, you are assured a private and secure signal up to a range of 300 ft. Other great features include automatic night vision and voice activation mode.

An option you have with this monitor is that you can purchase the "MobiCam Anywhere" software that allows you to connect the monitor to your computer, notepad, smartphone or other mobile devices. This means that you can keep in touch with your baby from wherever you are in the country or even overseas.

By connecting the Digital DL to your PC via USB (cable included) you can chat online with friends and family. the camera is compatible with popular chat services such as Skype, Microsoft Messenger, Google Video, Yahoo Messenger, and others.

Users seemed satisfied with the picture and audio quality. However, there were a few complaints about the limited flexibility of the camera in that it doesn't tilt very far up and down which made it difficult to get a good viewing angle.

A customer also mentioned that the menu system was complicated to use, but having looked at the user manual, the instructions seem easy to follow instructions. Like any new product, it takes time to get used to all the features and functions.

As this is a multi-purpose monitoring system and not specific to baby monitoring, this Mobicam DL is short on features that many other dedicated monitors have such as lullabies, temperature monitor and two-way talk back.
